Die O216 is unique in having the 1850 repunched with a C in low relief (see below). This obverse was used only on BUC-216 and 217.

In the RP UPPER the letters are repunched in slightly lower relief in a new font with the UL serif of the Ps tapers (in the original font they were parallel).
The 0 in the date was initially lightly repunched with a C. The back of the C hangs out to the left and its upper serif shows at the UR.
