Welcome to the JHAXMATICS website! This site has been published to make available to collectors and other interested persons portions of the ongoing Canadian numismatic research work of Dr. James A. Haxby, former Deputy Curator of the National Currency Collection of Canada, into the dies and die combinations used in minting selected dates of Dominion of Canadian large cents and certain series of Pre-Confederation tokens. Dr. Haxby and his collaborators have arranged the material to facilitate the rapid identification of the varieties and make the whole process as intuitive as possible. Enjoy!
